Yesterday my sister and I decided to go out for some late afternoon food. After trying to convince ourselves that we wanted something healthy at Hula (they do amazing juices/smoothies and lots of gluten free treats), we couldn't deny the call of some maple syrup covered pancakes. So instead we went to The City Cafe. I'll also add that they do an all day veggie breakfast, mmm the temptation was high!
The place itself is supposed to be like an American diner, so think lots of retro movie posters, classic booth seating areas and bright neon lights. It has a really nice atmosphere and the prices are decent. They also have a full bar, which means I've started quite a few nights out here with my friends. It helps that it's very close to all the good clubs too.
In conclusion, pancakes are love, pancakes are life.

DeleteLove the whole american diner concept and decor, reminds me of Pulp Fiction (maybe it's the milkshake association). The pancakes look delicious and that photo of your sister is really something. You girls look amazing!
